. Could have impeded due to not wanting to go against the stereotype that is expected from certain genres.
. Could have enhanced as it gives you a platform to work on and then you can add your own creativity with that.
. Enhanced as you can see what is expected and what has been successful for other videos of the same genre.
. Enhanced when filming for the thriller as we knew what people wanted.
. Through using media texts we were able to look at what we used in similar videos in comparison to the mise en scene and voyeurism. As well as this, we were able to go against the conventions at the same time by putting in animation. By being able to use media conventions we could see what was effective and what wasn't.
. We were able to match visuals to lyrics as we saw this done through other songs of a similar genre (Beatles). This meant that our video had more of a cutting edge and looked much more effective thanks to being able to see other media projects.
